Riverwalk 7.2 miles

A system of Riverwalks in Thief River Falls offers a health enthusiast a place to encounter nature, meet a friendly face or two and get a good view of 2 rivers. Paths link 6 parks together, and the paved surface provide a safe, pleasant place to walk or jog. Detailed brochures with map are available at the Chamber Office.

Thief River Archery and Rifle Club

2nd Street and Knight Ave.
The indoor archery range is conveniently located in downtown TRF. That range offers a 10 yard "youth" lane and eight 20 yard "adult" lanes. An organized indoor league runs throughout the winter and spring months beginning each year on January 1st.

Thief River Archery Range

The outdoor archery range is located immediately southwest of the Municipal Airport. That range offers a 14 target NFAA certified course, with 10 to 60 yard shots on a walking scenic wooded course. Also offered is a challenging 28 to 42 animal 3-D target course, during selected events.

The Thief River Falls BMX/Skate Park, located at the south end of Franklin Middle School grounds, is a supervised facility open to the public. For more information on park hours call the park supervisor at 218-681-6963, or the Community Education office at 218-681-8711, ext. 244. All persons using the facility must sign an "Agreement for Use of the BMX/Skate Park" waiver. Students under 18 must have parent and/or guardian present to sign waiver before they will be allowed to use the facility.

The Thief River Falls Golf Club, located on Highway 32 North. 

The course winds around banks of the Thief River and offers golfers a challenge in a relaxed atmosphere. Lessons are available as well as rentals for riding and pull carts. The course has a driving range and a snack shop. The club also offers its clubhouse for rent for special occasions, and is the site of many wedding dances and other functions.

Women's Day is every Tuesday. Men's Day, which includes a full menu, is every Wednesday. Call 681-2955 for more information or tee times. We also have early morning and twilight golfing available at reduced rates. The public is welcome!
